Hello everyone,

This article will be about my opinion on how education system should be in the future. I see a lot of confused young people in our age, including myself. So, this article concerns me as much as it concerns you and this is the reason why I want to write this.

Firstly, I want to touch upon our actual education system in Turkey. From kindergarten to university, we all learn certain things. But have we ever thought that how these things affect our way of thinking or even they affect or not? I think this education system raises a generation with the same way of thinking because everybody in the school takes lessons that do not interest or they never want to learn. It means young minds are fulfilled with so much useless knowledge. This situation puts blockage on people’s mind while discovering and creating new things. All these problems get together like a snowball and create an uncertain future for our new generation. And consequently, all of these affect the ability to invent a new world, and there shows up a society that makes no headway.

Secondly, the education system of the future should include more interactive content and be open to innovation and entrepreneurship. Networking is the key point of today. My generation understands this necessity well, so they act like to complete this duty. However, how many young people have this awareness? In the future, we should not have the need for the awareness of improving ourselves, because we should improve and program to this ourselves as it has always been. An accurate education system is among the most essential key points in a developing country. Thus, we should orient people according to their interests and build an environment to learn efficiently. A self-educating generation means improvement. What is more, I think we spend so much unnecessary time on the actual education system. We consider a sixteen-year education inadequate. In other parts of the world, the education system is more advanced than that of Turkey. Nevertheless, their period of study is shorter. We can find out that other country’s education system is more durable and efficient. In my opinion, this education formality could be better than ever in the future. Theory and practice are inseparable but we can change their durations. We see long and confusing theory lectures in school, and students cannot absorb what is actually important. Spending much more time in practice will enhance the learning experience because we can only understand well in this way.

In conclusion, the education system in the future should include much of what is actual life and external world, rather than all old traditions. It should include more practice and students must be given the opportunity to follow their interests and shape their future in accordance. Doing a job that you love is the key to success. The education system in the future should give this opportunity to young people.

Thank you for your time.

If that shortcut was actually a shortcut, it would be called a route.
